Locally family owned and operated by Jeff & Lea Ann Golden since 1980. The motel has been a mainstay on the historic National Road since the 1950's.
The Golden Inn is located at the corner of St. Rt.320 and historic US Route 40 just one mile east of Exit 156B off of Interstate 70. New Paris, Ohio is one mile north on route 320. The Christmas song "Up on a House Top" was written in New Paris in 1864 by the Reverend Benjamin Hanby. The motel sits on 11 acres of rural Preble County land with numerous fruit trees, wild berries and provides a quiet country feel just east of Richmond, Indiana.
